Cleaning and Gel preparation using 2 ounces of dried sea moss: 

When handling Sea moss, make sure your hands are clean.  You will need to clean your sea moss twice with filtered water, spring water or alkaline water! Clean in a suitable sized bowl.  Leave your sea moss in a ambient temperature (room temperature) environment. Placement on your kitchen counter is suitable. 

Soak for 12-24 hours.  Once soaking is completed you will see the sea moss as a soften gel state.  
Do not boil.  Boiling causes lost of nutrients. 

Next take the cleaned sea moss and set aside(on a plate).

If the soaked water still appears cloudy with debris do not use.  Just use new filtered water, spring water or alkaline water to make your gel. This is explained in the next step . 

Next step, use a high powered blender.  First add 1 cup (usually 1 cup per 1 ounce of seamoss, you may add more or little upon your preference) of filtered water, spring water or alkaline water and place Sea moss in blender.  Blend for no more than 3 minutes until smooth.  Transfer to a container that can be sealed.  Using a jar with a seal top is perfect.  Your gel will thicken within 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

Stored in a air tight sealed jar or container and the Sea moss gel can last 1 month in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.  Only use 1-2 tablespoons in your preferred drinks (smoothies, juice drinks and soups). You should not be able to taste Sea moss.
